In case you missed it, Kobe Bryant hit his 7th (!) game-winner of the season last night against the Raptors. The win stops the Lakers three game losing streak, but personally, I’d be worried about needing a Kobe bail out for a home win against a team that’s hovering around .500. Anyway, here’s the video:

If you’re like me, as the Lakers were inbounding, you said, “The Raptors should deny Kobe the ball.” I’m guessing about 100% of Raptors fans said it as well. This much is obvious. The Lakers obviously executed their plan, and it resulted in a win they needed to boost their psyche. At his excellent NBA Playbook site, Sebastian Pruiti shows you how. It’s not as simple as giving Kobe the rock and everyone getting the F out of the way, and it’s definitely worth a look.
